We decided to get a 10″ vinyl out after the summer with around 30 minutes of new material. In our opinion the best looking format – not too big, not too small – just perfect. The album will be strictly limited and come with hand-numbered silk-screened cover artwork – so keep your eyes and ears open for pre-order information later this spring.
We’re extremely excited to join the Pelagic roster for this exclusive release!

We will support this release with a two weeks European tour and most of it is already booked and confirmed – starting September 22nd and concluding October 6th. Dates and details will be announced in a few days – stay tuned!

EF came back home all messed up but extremely happy from Russia. It was a fantastic adventure that we’ve been trying to accomplish for over three years – but had to cancel two times.
Great shows, great crowd, great promoters, great The Ocean, great vodka, great Propaganda-dance club, great pizza, great hotels, great Red Square… the list can go on for ever.

Do I dear to say it was a success? Well, for us it felt like a HUGE success and I’m sure we’ll be back when there’s new album out there.

A round of applause for “Booking machine” (Ilya + Andrey w. crew) for making this happen. To The Ocean for being one of the sickest live bands out there and coolest guys and also for the amazing Russian audience. Thank you for making this something to remember.

The second album of EF, now on vinyl (2 LP) for the first time. Official release date: Feb 09, 2012. Once again totally remixed by Magnus Lindberg (Cult of Luna) and once again the record includes a vinyl-only bonustrack: A remix by german artist Udo Rabenstein. Limited edition of 600 in a silscreen-cover with inlet, extra insert and a download code. First 100 orders will get the record with a different cover.

2011 is almost over and with this first post on our re-launched website we want to take the opportunity to say; THANK YOU! We walk into 2012 with sweet memories from the packed clubs and fantastic festivals we visited this summer and also our very first and incredible trip to Asia. We’ve met so many new (and old) lovely friends, fans, promoters and bands that we now count a big and important piece in the EF-family.

And talking about family; the inner circle of our group have grown. Let us introduce Erik Gustafsson and Emanuel Olsson. Both of them have been involved in EF over the past years as live musicians and Emanuel also worked with the production of our first two albums. Some of you might have met them during the year at any of our shows – if not you’ll definitely see them around soon.

Shows – is there any tour booked?
No proper tour is planned at the moment but we’ll make a few shows during first half of 2012. We are happy to announce that we’re coming to Stockholm (SWE) for our very first show in 5 years. We are also proud to be headlining one of the days at the new festival POST FEST based in Århus (DK). Check the “SHOWS” section for more info.

And is there a new album coming?
New melodies are currently being put together in the EF cave. As always; it goes slow but steady forward. Cannot say when, how or if this will ever be released – just cross your fingers, we do.

But! In February we’ll release our second album “I am responsible” on vinyl. Once again it’s a double album totally remixed and remastered (with a few edits) by Magnus Lindberg (Cult of Luna, PG.Lost, Khoma and many others). And once again it’s released by the wonderful german label Kapitän Platte.
